Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash was born on February 4, 1983, in Belleville, Ontario. Ash is best known among viewers of television for her character as Dina Fox on the sitcom Superstore. Ash is a graduate both of Second City Toronto Mainstage, and Second City Chicago mainstage. She is also a part of the comedy duo "Cory!" She is a two-time Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007 and was also awarded for the Best Performance by a Female Television Actress for Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015 was awarded the Best Female Performance in an Feature Film for her role as Carol in the film Dirty Singles. Also, she has been part of the prank series "Scare Tactics". Since 2020, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside her cousin Christy Oxborrow.
